Sale Information
Accommodations: A block of rooms under “Santa’s Favorites” has been set aside at the Cobblestone Inn at Seward, Neb., for the nights of Dec. 19th and Dec. 20th. Reservations can be made by calling (402) 646-1004. The East Hills Inn, Seward, is also a great option. They can be reached at (402) 643-3679.
Lambs can remain in the sale facility overnight after the sale and picked up Sunday, Dec 21st. Or, delivery arrangements can be made with one of several options. We will have trailers going to the East Coast, Texas, California, Oregon, Michigan and points between.
Sale Schedule
Saturday, December 19, 2026
- 8:00-9:00 am – Sheep Judging Contest registration – Seward County Fairgounds
- 9:15 – 12:30 pm – Sheep judging Contest – Seward County Fairgrounds
- 12:00 noon – all Santa’s Favorites sale sheep will be in place and available for viewing- Burch Sale Facility
- 1:00 pm – Lunch – Burch Sale Facility
- 2:00 pm – Contest awards – sponsored by Essentials feed
- 4:30 pm – Key note speaker – Kyler Lee – “Advantages to feeding falls and some tips to manage them”
- 5:30 pm – Christmas dinner
- 6:00 pm – Happy hour and viewing
- 7:00 pm – Live Sale

If you are traveling from out of state, health papers are required for your consignment to sell.
For uniformity, we ask that all lambs be dry sheared approximately two – three weeks ahead of the sale with a 17-tooth comb. You’re more than welcome to blanket your lamb(s) for cleanliness, but we have found blanketing isn’t necessary.
ADVERTISING
Please submit your Santa’s Favorite lot information here. As a perk to being a consignor, these are submitted to Novel Designs to create a professional social media graphic with our Santa’s Favorite Sale Theme. You can anticipate receiving your graphics back in 24-48 hours M-F.
We will have a view-only sale catalog available for the sale through SC Online Sales.
Further, please use the downloadable logo for all your presale promotion.
Sale Facility
Sale consignors may arrive anytime Friday or Saturday morning to unload their consignment. Please utilize the west driveway by the mailbox. If you’re unsure where to go, there will be people to assist you – please ask them.
Bedding will be provided; there won’t be room for head rails, stands or other equipment, so please don’t bring them. Please bring your own feed and water buckets.
Paint brands will be available as well as a couple blowers and stands if you’d like to fluff legs.
After The Sale
- Our veterinarian will be on hand Saturday night to write health papers for any lambs selling outside the state of Nebraska.
- Essentials Feeds will be on hand selling 50-pound bags of feed for anyone needing it Saturday night.
- A 12% commission will be collected from your check. Your check will be issued directly from Show Circuit Online Sales. Please expect it to take 3-4 weeks to receive your check.
